That’s the key here too, not to just hang up a bunch of Raider’s stuff here and there. You want a room that will be fun to be in all year round but especially nice to be in during the football season. And that starts with the foundation which is your wall color choice, from there it’s a piece of cake.

And the easiest way to create a wall color is to choose a solid wall color. In my opinion black is too dark for a total wall to wall color, so that leaves silver and white. And those are great color choices because they’re light and with white adding Oakland Raiders Memorabilia to the walls will really make them stand out. Also a solid white is good for larger wall decor like full size posters and Oakland Raiders Fatheads.

Two Tone is the next easiest painting scheme to go with. Either add black, silver or white 1 to 2 feet down from the ceiling as trim and use the lighter color for the rest of the walls being either white or silver. Or do a half and half using white or silver as the top half and black or silver on the bottom half. You could even paint the raiders helmet stripe down the middle of the room, that would look awesome too.

You’re room is now painted and you’re ready to hang your posters, right. Just remember to frame them to keep them like new, away from dirty hands and dust and also framing a poster makes your room look more organized which makes it a nice room to entertain in all year round. Framing also goes for your old ticket stubs, paper clipping and other paper decorations you may want to hang up.

And once you have your posters and pictures hung you need to add more decorations. Like replica football helmets and jerseys, if they’re autographed it’s even cooler. Plus Oakland Raiders flags, banners, pennants, an Oakland Raiders Neon Sign or Clock, lighting and more could be added to make your theme really come alive.

Finally, you don’t need to spend a ton of money to get a great look in your home game room. Start simple with the wall color and then move to the decorations you have and finally buy the memorabilia you want to add. Don’t do it all at once, save up, look for great deals and add them when you can. Great game rooms are made in years, not in days.
