The Kasson Pool Table is said to be a nice billiard table and the price you’d pay for Kasson Pool Tables vary from the low to middle hundreds up to the low thousands as it’s rather hard to find a new Kasson Billiard Table.
The reason they’re hard to find new is that the company went out of business in the early 2000s.
How Do Kasson Pool Tables Play? Will They Last?
From looking around the web and reading reviews of the Kasson Pool Table I’ve found that their lower priced billiard tables are middle of the line and you basically get what you pay for.
But when it comes to the higher priced Kasson Pool Tables, owners of those tables say they play as nice as Brunswick and are very sold and sturdy. And the reason for that is Kasson Tables have beams running end to end and side to side to give it stability, that is why Kasson claimed to have one of the best billiard playing surfaces that stays level and sturdy. And many of the owners who have owned a better series of Kasson Pool Tables say that they’ve used their's for years with good results and top quality.
You Get What You Pay For
Personally I’d consider the Kasson Pool Table a discount pool table these days as they’re not being made any more. Not saying they’re cheap by any means as I’ve personally never played on one. They seem to be of really good quality for the more expensive ones and their lower priced tables seem to be middle of the road.
As you’ll mostly find used Kasson Pool Tables rather than new it’s a good idea to find out how much the table was new and then go from there. Knowing the original owner may have paid more than a couple thousand dollars for the table lets you know it was a top end table by Kasson and that for the right price you may be getting a great deal.
Just be sure to check the slate and felt and know that when you’re buying used you may have a few upgrades and repairs to do.
