And that is where any great looking theme room starts, is with the team colors and adding them on the walls. In the Kansas City Royal’s case those team colors are blue, white and gold. Three simple colors yet when put together can really make a room come alive and make your Kansas City Royals Theme POP!
The colors start the whole room off but after that it’s you’re decorations that finish the room and make it what it is, a place to hang out in year round. You can add Kansas City Royals Memorabilia like Neon Signs, Clocks, Posters and more to make it just the way you want.
Start Your Kansas City Royals Theme
With A Little Royal Blue, White and Gold.
The first way to paint your Kansas City Royals Theme Room is in solid colors. Simple, nice and there are some good reasons for doing this. One is if you’re adding full sized posters and fatheads to your walls, they look good on solid colored walls. So you could go all your walls white, blue or gold. None of those colors are too dark but white is still the best to keep the room light. You can add a blue or gold accent wall to the mix and put your coolest decorations on those walls, that will mix things up a little and make your game room unique.
But if solid wall colors isn’t your thing then consider two tone walls. You can paint the top 1 to 2 feet down one color, the darker being best so blue or gold and the rest white. Or you can go half and half but in this case the darker color would be on the bottom. And for a more traditional two tone use the bottom 36 inches up your darker color and the top white and where the two colors meet add baseball wallpaper or chair rail for a fancier look.
Now after you’ve painted your room it’s time to add your Kansas City Royals Memorabilia. And those may well dictate how you’ll paint your room too. From the addition of neon clocks, posters, pictures, banners, flags, pennants, baseball hats and caps, jerseys and so much more there are a lot of cool decorations out there to choose from. You just need to decide which you like best and add them to the mix.
And when it comes to posters and autographed items always remember to frame them or have them placed safely in a case. It keeps them not only safe but makes your room look more organized and classy. You’ll have a great looking game room when it’s all done!
And don’t think you’ll have to spend thousands to create it. Start with the painting and then add the decorations you’ve collected over the years. If that’s not enough then find memorabilia at discount prices either at second hand stores or after the season is over. It doesn’t have to all be done in a day, it takes time for a room to come together. So take your time, have fun and enjoy the years of memories you’ll make in your cool Kansas City Royals Theme Room slash Game Room.
