Our Game Room includes a cafe, real 1957 working pay phone, a self built MAME Arcade machine, a Japanese Pachislo Slot with auto stop and arm, a real IGT Black Cherry Las Vegas Slot Machine set for 5 cents. |
Also there's an audio keyboard with bench, palm trees, Beach Boy and Jan and Dean photo's and autographs and a Woodie collection. Not shown is a Home Theater with 7.1 sound and projection TV with a 77 inch screen. Thank You Ken and Jean for your photo submissions! Here are photos of our new 50's Diner that we created in our basement. Where the booth set is, there is a window cut-out in the wall which looks into the pool table area / gameroom. There are also two walkways into the gameroom from the diner, as well as another large window cut-out at the other end. The first window has a sign above that reads, "PLACE ORDER HERE" and the 2nd window has a sign above that reads, "PICK UP ORDER HERE." |
Items we've incorporated in our diner are: *neon "Diner" sign, *soda fountain Coca Cola clock, *50's car photos (taken at a recent local classic car show), *collages of my mom roller skating at the nationals, *Coca Cola baker's rack, *bistro set, sparkle booth set, *Mr. Christmas "Dance at the Diner" radio, *Twistee Licks metal die cut ice cream sign, *50's curtain, *retro light fixture, *coffee signs, *Coca Cola signs, *painting of an old diner in our home town, *record clock, *personalized menus, *'57 Chevy napkin holder etc. |
Currently we're working on a 6 ft. Chevy Bel Air die cut to put on the end wall by the booths (the image on the wall now is similar, but temporary - from a party store). We plan to put down a black and white checkerboard floor later on, but for now, the floor flows into the adjoining gameroom. Thank You Desiree For Your Wonderful Photo Submissions! This Is A Great Looking Game / Theme Room With Style And Class That's Fun For Family Members Of All Ages! |

| In this game room notice the bold blue wall color. Also they've went with a 3-swag lamp, juke box, billiard table and other great accessories. | Although this game room photo was taken in 1970 do you know the theme? They're going for a nature theme here with the giant poster and hanging antlers. | An example of a Great All Around Game Room. From the checkerd flooring to a variety of games this room is designed for total family fun! |
| In the same game room they've added a "sticker wall" which is mentioned on our game room wall ideas page. This type of wall adds variety and fun to a home game room. | From a little different angle you can see that they've added a variety of games. From an antique bowling game to a multi-player pinball game, two slot machines, a Japanese pachinko game and a billiard table. | Once again a photo of the game room. Notice how everything comes together. From the sticker wall to the fun games and the great looking checkered floor. |
| Another wonderfully decorated home game room. As you can see they've added a "photo wall" of famous actors. They have a few nice themes going on here. | Again this same game room from a different angle has a bar that has a South Pacific/Hawaiian theme going on. Notice how they decorated their support pole as a palm tree. | From this angle you get a wide view of one side of the room and how it flows. They have two distince themes that work great. A 1950s Theme & a Hawaiian Theme. |

| Here's a little closer look at their picture wall. This wall really makes the room stand out and gives it character. Full of great actors from the past! | In this last photo take a look at the game room wall colors. As mentioned throughout our game room theme pages, a two-toned game room looks great and they've done an awesome job of color selection. | In this game room here there isn't really a theme, it's designed for family fun and holiday parties. Notice the laminate flooring only under the pool table and they painted the cement floor green. |
| Here they've added a TV in order to watch the big games on TV while playing pool. They've used a ceiling mount and left the ceilings as is instead of finishing it off. | Here is just another closer look at the laminate flooring laid under the pool table. It adds a nice look and some cushion in an area where there will be a lot of standing. | They keep the room looking fun with a nice stand up of James Dean next to the 45rpm jukebox surround by a few nice wall decorations. |
Below is an Japanese/Asian/American/British Themed Game Room with lots of cool stuff. Coming soon I'll be adding a page with the before and after shots to get an idea of how this game room came about. It wasn't too hard to create, just took some time and energy. It does have a lot of different items in it, some may say it's too much but there's always something to see, read and do and that makes for the perfect entertainment game room area for friends and family for Holiday Parties, Get Togethers and more and that is what home game rooms are about.

| Here is a Game Room Japanese/Asian/American/Pub Theme designed for the whole family. Like a Japanese Izakaya. With a mix of Asian Decor and Game Room Games including a red felt billiard table, kids pool tabl, slot machine, Pachinko and more kids of all ages 2 to 92 love this room.. | From this angle you can see the additon of a neon sign and neon clock on the "British" wall of the room. Also you can see the two-tone wall painting idea used throughout the room in most of the photos. It was a bubblegum red and cookie dough two tone paint color idea. | An interesting feature to notice in this photo is the white out ceiling. This type of ceiling makes the room look bigger and brighter. |
| From this angle you can see more of the Asian Lanterns lit up along with some other Japanese Decor and in the left corner the small entertainment, home theatre area. | Here is a better photo of the entertainment area. In it is a small couch, bamboo table, a carpet to divide the area and for kids to sit on as there is also a Sony Playstation2 hooked up to the TV. | Here is a photo of only the lantern string lights above the basement bar area along with game room wall decor from posters to tin signs a slot machine and more. |
| Here is a photo of the game room home theater design idea. As you can see the lanterns are lit to give fun mood lighting while watching your favorite DVD, Football Game etc. on TV. | This is the view from the home theatre area looking into the game room in the dark and you can see how the bar area is gently lit up with the string lantern lights. | This is a better shot of the white out ceiling. The ceiling was primed twice before adding the final semi-gloss white paint coat to make sure it looked sharp. And still touchups with caulking need to be done. |

| Here is a photo of the game room bar area. Perfect for two for sitting and watching all the action going on around the room and waiting for your turn next on the billiard table. | And here you see a small game corner for everyone with a Japanese Pachinko Game. They're great because they're small in size and fun to play, kids of all ages love to play them. Plus with the Japanese Decor around it, it looks neat. | Now I couldn't leave out the kids. I added a kids multi game table so they can play mini pool, air hockey or foosball as the adults play on the big table. |
| Another shot of the vintage Japanese Pachinko game along with a mini push coin game with Asian Decor around them makes for a fun small game area. | As you can see, just to the left of the home theater sitting area are small basketball hoops that the kids love to play with too. They were a great use of space for the time being. | In this area is a slot machine and kids boxing man game along with some Japanese Beer Posters and Postcards from around the world. The cork board will eventually be turned into a photo board of friends etc. who visit. |
| This is a seperate Pub Wall Decor area for some of my British Decorations. From the Underground Neon Sign to Tin Sign of Trafalgar Square to the Bass Ale Chalk Board to keep score of who's winning the billiard games along with other small items from England, it's a fun wall. |
