Designing a Chicago Cubs Theme into your home game room would be something everyone would love to have. From their traditional team colors to cool Cubs Memorabilia and more you can create your very own unique Cubs Theme into your room simply and easily. It’ll be a room all will love to sit back and relax in when it done too.

You’ll have a lot of fun times in your Chicago Cubs Game Room but first you have to get it started and it starts with painting. You want to use the Cubs team colors of course and those are Blue, Red and White. There are a few simple and nice looking ways to paint these colors into your room and you’ll find those ideas below to help you get started.

Then after you have all your painting done and it looks just awesome, you can then add your Cubs Memorabilia and other items like Neon Signs, Posters, Cubs Themed Supplies, Accessories and more. But it all starts with your first brush stroke.

Creating Your Chicago Cubs Theme
One Piece At A Time!

As I was saying it’s relatively easy to get your Cubs Theme looking pretty darn good and it all starts with your painting scheme. Below are the ideas to get you going, you just need to choose which is for you and then get to it.

The easiest way to paint any room is in a solid color and that goes for a Chicago Cubs Theme Room too. You want to use your team colors so for the Cubs white would be the best as it will keep the room bright and looking larger than it is. But don’t leave the red and blue out. You can use those on accent walls, making one wall solid red and one solid blue if you like. On those walls life size posters and Chicago Cubs Fatheads would look pretty amazing. So solid walls may seem boring to some but in a themed game room they can really work in your favor.

And if solid walls are a little to dull for you then two-tone may be exactly what’s right for you. With two tone there are many options but I’ll go over the 2 most popular and in my opinion best looking ways to paint two-tone. The first would be to paint the top 1 to 2 feet down from the ceiling your dark team color so either blue or red and then paint the rest of your walls white. You can alternate blue and red on each wall. The second very popular to go two-tone would be to go 36 inches up from the floor your dark team color of either blue or red and the top all white. Where the two colors meet you could add chair rail or baseball wallpaper to give it an even better and cleaner look.

Now after you have all your painting done and you wall paper up if you decided to go that route, you can start adding your Chicago Cubs Theme Decorations, Accessories and Supplies. Things like Chicago Cubs Neon Signs, Posters, Banners, Flags, Pennants, Clocks, Autographed Jerseys, Hats and Baseballs among other cool items. You can even add your ticket stubs from the games you’ve seen, just make sure to frame them and display them in a creative way.

And don’t forget when it comes to posters, pictures, autographs etc… always remember to frame them. Frames make all your decorations look better, they keep your room looking organized and the most important thing is that they keep your posters, pictures and autographs safe. Now that you have a few ideas, it’s time to start on your Chicago Cubs Theme, there’s no better time than the present.
