Once you get into the dining tables and sofas you’re into a couple hundred dollars already for new and usually a lot more, usually up near 1000 dollars for nice retro sofas, for mid range retro sofas you’re talking about half that. But with online sites like EBAY and Craigslist among others you can find great deals on both new and used retro furniture from chairs to sofas.

And you can always hit your local thrift stores. You may find a great retro sofa or table and chairs there. And remember even if it’s not new you can have new fabric put on it and new pillows. You’ll save a lot of money that way and you’ll come away with cheap retro furniture that’ll look really expensive and brand new sitting in your basement game room or recreation room.
