Pub Lights / Swag Lamps
Lighting With Style!

A pub light, otherwise known as the “single swag lamp” would be a great addition to your baseball theme room. Usually they're hung above pool tables. But really you can put them anywhere you want since they're not so big. Around 16 inches in diameter or so is the average for this type of lamp.

The larger swag lamps are rectangular. They usually have 3 lights underneath one large stained glass shade.

With the larger swag lamp you’ll have more light, which would be better for shooting pool. Of course you must consider its size. Being 40 inches in length it may be too big for your game room.

As these lamps are hung from the ceiling they usually come with a chain and a wire of around ten feet or so to get power to them.

Why would the pub/swag lamp look good as your baseball lighting?

There are different styles available for all teams or for baseball in general. Some have the team names in all capital letters and others have the team names written in cursive.

Three shade lamps are similar to the rectangular swag lamps above except that each light has it’s own single shade. The ones above come with the three lights under one large rectangular shade.

The main two types of lampshades on the 3 shade lamps will either be acrylic or glass. You can get either one in pretty much any color and with any sports team you’d want.

The 3 shades usually are attached to a long polished brass bar. From the bar you’ll most likely have a chain that will attach to the ceiling. They almost always come with the wire and chains and a mounting kit for your ceiling. Just make sure you ask if everything is included before buying one.

Where would you use a table lamp in your game room? There are two really great places to use them.

One would be on the ENDS OF YOUR BAR or even behind the bar if you have one. Another great place for a baseball table lamp would be IN YOUR GAME ROOM SITTING AREA.

The best way to complete your baseball theme is to mix and match. Use the table lamps on your bar. Use the floor lamps around a sitting area and the hanging lamps above your favorite table games.
