Game Room Music

And since everyone has their own music preference, have a variety of everything on hand. And it's easy to have them all if you break them down into four separate time periods.
For me growing up as a child my parents had a 1940s Jukebox and the music I listened to in our home game room was from the 1920s-1940s. I actually learned to appreciate that music and still love it to this day. I'm lucky to have been exposed to those oldies.
Then as a teenager I turned on the game room stereo a lot of the time and listened to modern songs. But the funny thing is now that I'm older I don't hum those "modern songs" from my teenage years as much as I hum those golden oldies my parents played on our game room jukebox.
Making Memories
One of the best things about having game room music are the fun memories they seem to take on themselves. In 5, 10, 15 or even 20 years from now you may forget many of the fun times you had in your home game room, especially if you've moved and don't have your game room anymore.
What game room music does is preserve those fun memories in your mind with a tune. More than once I've been driving down the road listening to the radio when a song comes on that my parents used to play in our game room while shooting pool. Memories come flooding back! I can see clearly in my mind who was there, who was winning the game and those memories make me smile! Those memories weren't lost, just filed away until that game room music triggered my memory once again.
So choose your music and choose variety. Your parents and older friends will love the oldies, your children will love some of the more current tunes and you will love hearing the songs you love! Variety also exposes everyone to more than one type of music and will possibly make everyone appreciate different types of music even more.
Game Room Music is a must for any "Great" Home Game Room! With CDs you can add pretty much listen to any type of music you like. With 78s or 45s you may be limited on the type of music available and that's why you should always have a home stereo system somewhere in your game room if your main music source is an older jukebox.
So add a variety of fun game room music today and keep the party going all night long! The memories of fun music and fun times with family and friends will be memories of a lifetime!
